Ricoh GR III Image Sync iOS App

By: j.wilder

I finally got to take my Ricoh GR III Street Edition out. However, when using the Ricoh Image Sync iOS app to download my photos I got a connection error. A few hours of deleting the app and reconfiguring everything multiple times I gave up for the night. The next day with a fresh battery I tried again but got the same error.

Out of frustration, I downloaded another app which I paid for. I had the same problems. The app had a quick help page and it said to enable the "Local Network" toggle. That didn't seem to work either.

So I started the Ricoh app again and behold, all my photos showed up!

Ricoh needs to update their documentation.

So, bottom line, make sure after downloading the Ricoh Image Sync iOS app to open the app settings and enable "Local Network".

Now I can play with the photos!
